Be aware of fruit fly restrictions traveling north
there will be three "long bitumen days" however it will be best to get them over quickly
Broken Hill will be the obvious place to stock up with food and fuel
Most bush camping spots will be selected on the day
The inland track from silverton to Cameron Corner promises to be a very interesting few days.Jan and I have not done this before
Betoota has a population of zero, and Dimantina Shire say it is nicer and quieter than Birdsville races
Windorah yabbie races have a reputation of being great fun
Check Website for the Betoota races and Windorah yabbie races. They promise to be very low key family friendly events
The trip will conclude at kingaroy. There are plenty of attractions , wineries and resturants in the area. This will allow each of us two full days to make our way to Hunting Lodge and do anything else in the area
Make individual journey to Hunting Lodge to arrive by Thursday 6th September Distance 137km
